We are here to be your go-to resource for everything in and around West Knoxville and Oak Ridge! If you are looking to figure out what to do on any given day, seeking mommy tips and tricks, or simply want to stay in the know, West Knox Moms has it all!

This site is part of The Local Moms Network and was founded with the very simple goal of saving you time and energy by providing a comprehensive collection of local events and resources, and building a supportive mommy community.

The site will be an ever evolving and growing community for moms to come for information, advice, or just a place to feel inspired and supported. We have a calendar of events, a resource guide, and general information that we hope will be helpful to local families, including many topics highlighting the joyous chaos that comes along with being a mom.

They say it takes a village and this site will aim to be that for all of you – your village! Right here in West Knoxville!

Meet the West Knox Moms Site Manager:

Hi! I’m Becca and I am a former Kindergarten teacher turned stay at home mom to an energetic 3 year old boy (Carson) and a sweet 9 month old girl (Laney). I love being able to stay at home with them, but I learned early on that I needed to get out of the house and stay busy. You will often find us at local playgrounds, indoor play areas, or at Target with a Starbucks in hand!

I grew up in Oak Ridge and attend the University of Tennessee Knoxville (Go Vols!). My husband (Tommy) is a manager at a local bank and we decided this was where we wanted to stay and raise a family. It has been so fun to watch the West Knoxville/Oak Ridge area grow and change over the years and now finding fun new places to try! I hope to share my love of this area with you and be a helpful resource to all moms!
