Tell us about yourself and your family.
Hey Party People! My name is Chynna. I have been married to my husband Sean for 6 years. We have 2 little girls Taytum (5) and Teagan (2.5) and a dog named Bubbly. We are originally from Tampa, Florida but have called Knoxville home for the last 9 years. When I am not running around doing events you can find me passing my kids snacks all day long, at cheer practice/cheering Taytum on at competitions, making frequent Target/Starbucks runs, obsessing over my kid’s next birthday party theme way too early, and enjoying time as a family.
What do you love about living in Knoxville?
I love having all four seasons. Coming from Florida it feels like there is only one season, so being in Knoxville and getting to experience Fall / Winter is my favorite.
What are your favorite family activities in the area?
My girls love going to the movies, visiting Dollywood, and checking out the different parks around us.
How did The Party Elevators get started?
My love for parties started when I was a teenager. Back in the day I was obsessed with My Super Sweet 16. That show inspired me to plan my entire Sweet 16 party on my own. Later in life I went on to plan my wedding (before I even had the ring on my finger haha). After that, my love for themed events continued while in the classroom. While in the classroom I would create themed units accompanied by room transformations for my students to truly enjoy their learning experience. Some of my favorites were bat week, Papa Pepperoni’s Pizza Shop, and Candy Land. These themed lessons and transformations truly made me excited to go to school and teach my kids. Their excitement was priceless. When I had Teagan I decided to leave teaching to be home with my girls. While home, I decided to start The Party Elevators and help others throw Pinterest worthy parties without the stress of having to do it themselves.

I offer full service event plans for non wedding events, luxury balloon decor + backdrops, modern bounce houses & entertainment, and party rentals.

How has your business grown in the last few years?
Over the last two years The Party Elevators has continued to grow. With that growth we’ve had the opportunity to help elevate events for Tennessee Athletics, Companies such as Bush Beans, Y12, Bechtel, etc.. as well as local small businesses. We love getting to meet our clients and help elevate their celebrations in a stress free way!!
What is your favorite thing about parties & party planning?
I love getting to make each and every event I do unique and customized to the guest of honor. Seeing their faces light up when they see the event is priceless.
