Knoxville is well-known for having a large running community and some of the best places to run in East Tennessee. Whether you are a new runner that is lacing up for your first 5K or a seasoned runner that is training for even bigger races, there are plenty of opportunities to cross the finish line this fall! Many of these races even have a kids run to get the whole family involved! See the website for each event for additional details, registration and more.
If you are like me and hate running by yourself, there are plenty of local groups that do runs together every week. @865running on instagram shares daily where all of the group runs are happening. All of these groups are very welcoming and encouraging!
Another option for local moms is Fit4Mom’s Run Club. They will be training for the Secret City 5K or Half Marathon and starting their Saturday group runs on October 26. Check out their Instagram or Facebook for more information!
