Real talk: Since becoming a mom, swimsuit shopping has become a lot less fun. Finding swimsuits that flatter my postpartum body, offer enough coverage and support and stay put while chasing after the kids without looking dowdy has been a challenge. But I’ve made it my mission to find the brands and styles that work for playing with the kids at the pool or beach and make you look and feel amazing—and I’ve even found some two pieces that fit the bill. Here are the best swimsuits for moms—all tested and approved by a mom of four littles who never sits still!

Lisa Marie Fernandez High Waisted Bikini, $395

You won’t find me in itty bitty bikinis anymore, but I love these high-waisted bikinis. The top is flattering and offers a bit more coverage and support and the style has a fun retro vibe.

Stylest+ DreamSculpt Square Neck Tank, $198

Stylest makes the most flattering swimsuits that sculpt and suck you in and lift you up. They have a built-in bra and are the only way I have gotten into the pool right after having babies. This one is my favorite.

Maygel Coronel Ruffle One Piece, $231

This swimsuit is so elegant and sexy but still holds you in and offers enough butt coverage. I love how you can wear it with a skirt or shorts or Pareo and head straight from the pool to lunch.

Minnow Low Back One Piece, $188

Minnow makes my favorite swimsuits for kids and moms. I love their prints and the styles are classic, flattering and offering plenty of coverage. I also like that they work with my longer torso. I have worn their suits pregnant, postpartum and in between.

Hillhouse Teagan Bikini Set, $168

Hill House makes beautiful prints and swimsuits with plenty of butt coverage. And I love that they have swim skirts that you can wear while sitting on the side of the pool.

Eres Swimsuit, $455

They’re not cheap but these are some of the most elegant and flattering swimsuits you’ll find. They just radiate chic and offer the right support while sucking you in but don’t feel restrictive. I can even wear the strapless style (so no tan lines) while chasing my kids!
